Mary Jane Jagodzinski Joins BRIDGE Housing as Senior Vice President of Development – Southern California

San Diego, CA, July 10, 2023 – Mary Jane Jagodzinski has joined BRIDGE Housing as Senior Vice President of Development – Southern California, effective today.

BRIDGE is a leading nonprofit developer, owner, and manager of affordable housing on the West Coast. 

In this new role, Ms. Jagodzinski will be responsible for all real estate development activities in Southern California with a specific focus on San Diego and Orange Counties and will provide day-to-day leadership in San Diego. 

During her career of 30+ years, Ms. Jagodzinski has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, acquisition, entitlements, project financing, design and construction, initial lease up and project close out.  Prior to joining BRIDGE, she was Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Community HousingWorks, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that develops, rehabilitates, preserves and operates affordable apartment communities throughout California and Texas. She also served as Senior Vice President, leading Community HousingWork’s real estate development and acquisition group.

Ms. Jagodzinski began her career with the State of California where she rose from Budget Associate in the California Department of Finance to serve as the first Executive Director of the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee. She subsequently worked for Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, Bedford Properties, Caritas Company, and Project Resources, Inc.  

She earned her BA from California State University Sacramento and her MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.  Mary Jane is a former Board Member of San Diego Housing Federation, serving as President for 2014 – 16, Vice President, and Chair of the Policy and Governance Committees in her seven-year tenure.
