SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 13, 2021—BRIDGE Housing Board Chair Kenneth Novack has formed a search committee of the Board to oversee the recruitment and selection of the next President and CEO of BRIDGE, a leading nonprofit developer, owner and manager of affordable housing.

Joining Mr. Novack on the committee are Board members Daryl J. Carter, Founder, Chairman and CEO, Avanath Capital Management, LLC; Joe Hagan, Retired President and CEO, National Equity Fund; Nancy Hemmenway, Retired Chief Human Resources Officer, Prologis; and Ron Nahas, Partner, Rafanelli & Nahas and immediate past Chair of BRIDGE.

The committee expects to announce its selection of an executive search firm shortly.

“In keeping with the commitments outlined in our five-year Strategic Plan,” said Mr. Novack, “we view this search as an opportunity to seek candidates who have the vision and experience to help BRIDGE advance our mission, including shared values of diversity, equity and inclusion.”

Susan Johnson, a 38-year veteran of BRIDGE, was appointed Interim President and CEO last month and will continue in this role throughout the search process.
