Delphine Sherman joined BRIDGE as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2020, and was also named Chief Operating Officer in January 2025.
As COO, she oversees daily operations and implements strategies to improve efficiency and communication across all departments, as well as cross-team collaboration and tracking progress on BRIDGE’s Strategic Plan. As CFO, she continues to oversee several departments including finance and accounting, risk management, property management, information technology, and business intelligence.
Ms. Sherman previously was CFO for the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, a top public business school with $160 million in annual revenues and a $350 million endowment. Prior to Haas, she served as CFO of Aspire Public Schools, a nonprofit charter management organization serving 16,000 students in low-income communities. There she managed a budget of $240 million and led a team of 35 across multiple functions. During her nine years at Aspire, Ms. Sherman also worked as the organization’s Vice President of Finance and Director of Finance.
Earlier, she was Vice President of Client Management for EDTECH, a finance and professional consulting firm; an Investment Credit Analyst at the University of California, Office of the President; and a Senior Consulting Associate for Cambridge Associates, serving foundations, public universities and independent schools.
Ms. Sherman holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College (Phi Beta Kappa) and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. She serves on the Board of Directors of Pacific Charter School Development, a nonprofit that works to expand access to high-quality educational opportunities in under-resourced communities. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Climb Hire, an equity-focused workforce development nonprofit focused on providing working adults the technical and people skills they need to break into high-growth industries.
