BRIDGE acquired the 100-unit Ocean View Senior Apartments in order to preserve the property’s affordability and make needed capital improvements.

Ocean View Senior Apartments comprises 100 one-bedroom apartment homes and is situated on the beautiful coast of Pacifica, CA with accessibility to essential services and stores as well as access to highways 1, 280 and 101.

Renovations to this senior affordable housing community in Pacifica included the replacement of aging building elements and systems with more efficient and higher-performing alternatives and the restoration and enhancement of the building’s physical condition. Energy efficiency upgrades were made, including the installation of solar photovoltaic panels that generate electricity for both residents’ units and common areas. Property amenities include a clubhouse, two outdoor common areas, and newly created community garden beds.

New deed restrictions have been placed on the property to ensure rent restrictions will continue for 55 years. The recapitalization also provides funding to enhance on-site services. Residents have access to programs such as wellness and nutrition classes and referral services, free of charge.
