Kindred will bring 126 affordable multi-generational homes to the Cortez Hill neighborhood of San Diego.

Kindred will bring 126 affordable multi-generational homes to the Cortez Hill neighborhood of San Diego. The eight-story development will include 62 apartments for individuals and family households, 63 permanent supportive apartments for formerly homeless seniors, and one manager’s apartment.

Comprised of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes, Kindred will be affordable to households earning 60% AMI and below. Planned amenities include community rooms, outdoor courtyards, onsite property management and resident services offices, shared laundry facilities, onsite resident parking, and 4,400 SF of commercial space. Supportive services will be provided by San Ysidro Health.

Scheduled for completion in May of 2027, Kindred is in a transit-rich location with easy access to retail, parks, museums, theaters, and more.
