Lisa Laffer serves as BRIDGE Housing’s Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. In this dual role, she serves as a key member of BRIDGE’s senior leadership team, helping to strengthen the organization’s operations, lead its legal and compliance functions, and support BRIDGE’s next phase of growth as it continues to expand its impact across the West Coast.
Ms. Laffer previously served as Principal, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Regent Properties, a vertically integrated investment management company. In this capacity, she oversaw all legal matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, leasing, development, debt transactions, and property management. She also led corporate governance, SEC compliance, insurance and litigation management, and HR.
Her prior experience includes serving as General Counsel for a Los Angeles–based real estate family office and practicing real estate and land use law at Latham & Watkins LLP and later Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, where she was elected to partner.
Ms. Laffer began her career clerking for the Honorable David Alan Ezra, Chief District Judge for the District of Hawaii. She was a founding board member of the Jewish Center for Justice.
Ms. Laffer graduated with a BA in History from Yale University and a JD from UCLA School of Law.
