BRIDGE Housing Promotes Hallock Svensk to General Counsel

SAN FRANCISCO (August 10, 2026)—BRIDGE Housing, a leading nonprofit affordable housing owner, developer and manager on the West Coast, today announced the promotion of Hallock Svensk to General Counsel.

In his new role, Svensk will serve as a member of BRIDGE’s senior leadership team, leading the organization’s legal and compliance function and providing counsel across its real estate development, operations and corporate activities. Svensk first joined BRIDGE as Associate General Counsel, providing legal counsel across the organization’s growing real estate and business development platform.

Prior to joining BRIDGE, Svensk served as Associate General Counsel at Harrison Street Asset Management, formerly Rockwood Capital, where he was primary transaction counsel for a diversified private equity real estate portfolio spanning multifamily, office, retail and industrial assets. Earlier in his career, he held senior legal positions at Public Storage and practiced real estate law at Paul Hastings LLP.
