Kenneth M. Novack Elected Chairman of BRIDGE Housing

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, February 1, 2021--Kenneth M. Novack has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of BRIDGE Housing, a leading nonprofit developer, owner and manager of affordable housing.

Mr. Novack first joined the BRIDGE board in 2014 and has chaired the organization’s Projects, Audit and Governance committees.

Mr. Novack is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of MMGL Hold Co LLC (formerly Schnitzer Investment Corp.) and related entities including Co-Founding Partner, Schnitzer West. He served as Chairman of Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. (NASDQ:SCHN) from 2004-2009 and was Chairman and CEO of Lasco Shipping Co. from 1992-2003. Mr. Novack also was a partner in the law firm of Ball, Janik & Novack (now BallJanik LLP).

His present and past board affiliations include California College of the Arts, Eisenhower Health, California Pacific Medical Center and Oregon Health & Sciences University. He is a Life Trustee of Claremont McKenna College and Lewis & Clark College. Mr. Novack earned a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and a J.D. from the University of Southern California.
