Aruna Doddapaneni Promoted to Senior Vice President

SAN DIEGO, CA, September 7, 2018---BRIDGE Housing has promoted Aruna Doddapaneni to Senior Vice President of Development for Southern California, effective immediately.

In her new role, she also joins the organization’s Senior Leadership Team. Ms. Doddapaneni joined BRIDGE in 2010 and earned successive promotions to Senior Project Manager, Director of Development and Vice President of Development for Southern California. She brought extensive experience to BRIDGE, where her accomplishments to date have included the completion of Pottery Court as well as the award-winning Celadon at 9th & Broadway, BRIDGE’s first high-rise property. Notably, Celadon is a complicated development of vertically subdivided 4% and 9% tax credit buildings–the first of its kind in California. In addition, she has been the force behind BRIDGE being selected for two recent high profile projects in Long Beach and San Diego.

“Aruna skillfully navigated the shutdown of redevelopment to get Celadon financed and across the finish line,” said Cynthia Parker, President & CEO. “It’s one of the most complex and catalytic developments in our portfolio. I look forward to her continued growth and success as she takes on a leadership role in Southern California, where we have nearly 20 projects in the pipeline.”

Prior to joining BRIDGE, Ms. Doddapaneni was with Mercy Housing in Denver, where she worked on a variety of tax credit, HUD and service-enriched projects. In 2014, she was named to the Urban Land Institute’s “40 Under 40,” representing the best young land use professionals from around the globe. She has served on the board of the San Diego Housing Federation, a nonprofit advocacy organization and on the management committee for ULI San Diego-Tijuana’s chapter. She also created and co-chaired the ULI San Diego-Tijuana’s Next 10 initiative.

Ms. Doddapaneni received a BBA in Finance from University of New Mexico and an MBA in Finance Real Estate from University of Denver; she has an Executive Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Construction Management from the University of Denver.
