BRIDGE Housing Appoints Nicole Peterson as Pacific Northwest Director

PORTLAND, OR, July 15, 2013—BRIDGE Housing has appointed Nicole Peterson as Director, Pacific Northwest, effective immediately. In this newly created position, Ms. Peterson will lead the organization’s real estate development activity in the Pacific Northwest region.

BRIDGE, a leading nonprofit developer, owner and manager of affordable housing, will break ground on its first Pacific Northwest development in 2014: the 142-apartment Abigail in Portland’s Pearl District.

Ms. Peterson comes to BRIDGE from Seattle-Northwest Securities Corporation (SNW), an investment bank, broker-dealer and asset management firm that specializes in debt securities and related businesses. Ms. Peterson joined SNW in 2008 to focus on financing affordable housing and community development projects. Her project finance expertise ranges from private and public bonds to commercial real estate loans, low-income housing and new markets tax credits, HUD/FHA funds, energy tax credits, urban renewal funds, and other grants and subsidies.

Prior to joining SNW, Ms. Peterson was a Project Manager for Williams & Dame Development in Portland, where she managed master planning, urban design and community development projects in Portland and Los Angeles. She served on Portland’s South Waterfront Greenway Project Advisory Team and the Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Extension Advisory Committee, as well as the neighborhood’s Nature & Greenspaces Committee.

Ms. Peterson graduated from Linfield College with a B.A. in International Business, and she received a Master of City and Regional Planning and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She holds a Series 52 securities license.
