BRIDGE and Community Housing Partnership co-developed Rene Cazenave Apartments, 120 units of permanent supportive housing. Ground floor spaces include a wide range of programming space, a private courtyard and two retail spaces. Managed by Community Housing Partnership, all tenants are formerly homeless and referred by the San Francisco Department of Public Health. The site is located on Folsom Street at the northeast corner of Essex Street. Rene Cazenave Apartments is the first of several development sites in San Francisco's Transbay Redevelopment Area and serves as a gateway to the city's vision of a new "main street" along Folsom Street.
